Plavac Sv. Roko comes from the steep vineyards of Komarna. Dark ruby in colour, emphasized with the scent of ripe peach and Mediterranean herbs, very "different" for this variety. The wine is harmonious, with accentuated tannins, typical for Plavac. Sv. Rocco is dry and at the same time delicious Plavac, the taste is dominated by beautiful fruitiness, with respectable minerality given the age of the plantations. Suitable for aging.
Barbecue, roasts, more spicy dishes (broth, pašticada which is slow-cooked beef prepared in a rich red sweet and sour sauce, game), more spicy and fatty fish, aged sheep milk cheese.
