Bura

Bura Brew is an independent craft brewery from Poreč, born from the passion of three founders, Alessandro Zecchinati , Claudia Rossi and Veronika Beckers , who turned the idea from 2014 into a concrete project in 2015, and brewed the first barrels in 2016. The brewery's name is borrowed from the bura, a strong and recognizable wind that marks the Istrian and Adriatic coasts, a symbol of energy and character that also adorns their beers. All Bura Brew beers are brewed using the top fermentation method, a traditional technique in which the yeast ferments on the surface of the vat and creates layered, aromatic profiles characteristic of ale and stout styles. They are unfiltered and unpasteurized, and additional refermentation in the bottle gives them a lively, authentic taste, with the natural yeast sediment at the bottom of the bottle guaranteeing that this is a real, uncompromising craft beer. This approach, combined with carefully selected malts and blends of European hops , places Bura Brew among the most recognizable craft breweries on the Adriatic.
