Astoria
Astoria winery was founded in 1987 by the brothers Paolo and Giorgio Polegat, descendants of a family with a long tradition of wine production. With its location on forty acres of the Val de Brun estate in the heart of the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG zone, one of the most beautiful wine growing areas in Italy, the Astoria Winery has the exclusive right to the names of the Prosseco sparkling wine, for which the winery is best known. On its vineyards, which alternate with hilly areas, Astoria implements the environmental protection and ecosystem rehabilitation project "Vignes fleuries", a specific French protocol.
The flagship of the winery is Millesimato Valdobadene Prosseco Superiore D.O.C.G, a prosecco with an intense, typical, fruity taste of peach and watermelon, which has been winning numerous awards for many years, including the prestigious Grand Gold medal at the international Vinitaly wine competition in Verona. Among the range of Astoria wines and prosecco, the Venice line stands out in particular, which has found many fans among young and urban connoisseurs.
The Venice line consists of Astoria Corderie Valdobiaddena Extra dry fragrant prosecco with intense aromas of ripe green fruit, pop of melon, lemon and citrus, Rose Fashion Vicitim Extra Dry fruity, light prosecco reminiscent of Millesimato in its softness, but with a slightly stronger fruity note, and Moscato Rose Fashion Victim Doux, dessert sparkling wine with a strong and intense scent of muscat and strawberry aroma.
Thanks to the high expertise and experience of the professional staff, Astoria wines and prosecco are today sold in more than 100 countries around the world, and are served in the most exclusive restaurants and wine bars.
