Apples and pears. After about ten minutes, clear taste of walnuts, honey and baked apples can be felt in the glass. The mouth is dominated by a mild, rounded density and rich oily texture with fresh citrus elements on the edges of the palate, and apple-honey-nut shades on the long and delicious finish.
It goes well with Foie gras, especially with terrine and torchon, cheeses with blue noble mold, such as roquefort or stilton, or with not too sweet apple strudels, or classic tart Tatin. Maybe instead of dessert, solely.
