Ivan Dolac barrique comes from isolated positions on the southern slopes of the island of Hvar. It is characterized by a deep dark ruby red colour, typical for excellent Plavac. It is nurtured in barrique barrels so that in addition to the primary aromas of the variety, dried berries and raisins , is enriched with more discreet secondary aromas of ripening. In taste is strong, it is a robust wine, rich in extract and mature tannins, which makes it elegant and pliable in the mouth.
Slightly bitter taste, sumptuous bouquet and varietal aromas, it reveals all its natural beauty served at 18 ° C with Mediterranean delicacies such as noble fish and crabs and of dark meat and game roasts.
