Pinot Noir is one of the most complex and demanding varieties in the world, and in the Korak winery it occupies a primary place among red varieties. Playing, enjoying and learning with this variety and achieving top results, but also some disappointments, causes immense passion. Pinot Noir is a variety that gives excellent results on Plešivica. The usual maceration period is 12 to 14 days, after which Pinot Noir goes to final fermentation and aging in barrique barrels. Maturation in barrique on a fine residue takes 10 to 12 months. The final maturation takes place in large wooden barrels. Pinot Noir is a variety that charms with its aroma and smooth texture. The taste is very rich and reminiscent of sweet grapes. Rarely very elegant red wine.
