Friedrichs gin

Friedrichs The gin was created in 2015 when Friedrich Schwarze, together with the distillation masters from the oldest German pine distillery in Steinhagen , decided to create a gin different from all the others on the market. What makes it unique is precisely the production method: while most gins are made by standard redistillation of neutral alcohol with the addition of pine, Friedrichs Gin is made according to the traditional 250-year-old Steinhäger method, in which juniper berries are used not only for flavoring, but also for the distillation of the alcohol itself. Juniper berries are first mashed, macerated and fermented, and then the recipe is enriched with liquorice root, orange peel, rosemary, star anise, lavender and jasmine flowers and basil. Distillation takes place in traditional copper stills, which gives the gin an exceptionally mild, rounded aroma, without any artificial flavors or colors. The result is London Dry Gin with an unusual, authentic character that combines the centuries-old German tradition of pine distillation with a modern, innovative approach.
