Casa Don Ramón was born from a deep commitment to the tradition of agave cultivation in the hills of Jalisco , the cradle of Mexican tequila . Behind each bottle is the work of experienced jimados , master harvesters who hand-select the ripest blue agave, respecting the knowledge passed down through generations about the right moment to ripen the plant. Don Ramón tequila is produced exclusively from 100% blue agave (agave azul ) from the Jalisco highlands , with a modern approach to double distillation that further emphasizes the softness and purity of the flavor. Depending on the line, the tequila is then aged in American or French oak barrels, where it acquires a layered aroma of vanilla, spices and nuts, while a special Cristalino filtration removes the color and bitterness acquired by aging, leaving an exceptionally soft, velvety taste. The result is a tequila that combines respect for tradition with a modern, accessible flavor profile, recognizable throughout the world.
