Domäne Wachau Riesling Smaragd Ried Loibenberg 0.75l

Loibenberg is one of the "Grand Crus" locations of Austria. The composition of the soil is dominated by the so-called porous metamorphic rock. "Gföhler Gneiss", with layers of loess and loam in certain parts. The warm Pannonian air currents make Loibenberg the "hot plate" of the Wachau, while the area of more than 20 hectares makes it one of the largest locations. Riesling gives the best results on the higher terraces of the Loibenberg where yields are very low due to the poor soil. Expressive on the nose, with aromas of ripe stone fruit, orange peel and a touch of lime. On the palate characteristic tropical fruit, ripe mango and pineapple, finely structured, with clear fruity, salty and mineral notes, very complex, with lively acids.
