Frenchie is a Sauvignon Blanc blended with Semillon and it comes from the vineyard Sveti Ante near Višnjan. Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc are a typical Bordeaux combination and Frenchi is one of the few examples on the Croatian wine scene. Frenchie is a wine that has fermented and aged in so-called concrete eggs (allows constant circulation of wine. It is a rich, creamy and very fresh wine, with strong acidity, full middle palate, light bitterness on the aftertaste and very long duration. The aroma of grapefruit, passion fruit, young peas and freshly cut grass is felt, while the taste of Frenchi varies between citrus and herbal elements. The large body of this wine, combined with strong acidity, and with Semillon's natural tendency to age long and well, gives Frenchie room for fine maturation.
