Valle from Kozlović shares its name with vineyard near Buje and is a blend of Istrian Malvasia and Sauvignon Blanc. Malvasia gives the wine body and texture, while Sauvignon Blanc is responsible for the aromatic complexity, freshness and verticality. The colour is pale lemon. On the nose it is gentle and somewhat restrained, giving a hint of primary fruity notes and youth through peachy notes of Malvasia and a green, discreet green peppery note of Sauvignon. Both varieties intertwine so neither takes dominance. The palate is dry and flavour is intense. Malvasia is in the shade of Sauvignon, which comes first with its freshness. Uncomplicated, slightly salty wine, quite long-lasting taste.
Salads, vegetables, risotto with asparagus, cold appetizers including seafood. It also goes well as an aperitif or for enjoyment on its own on the summer terrace.
