Tomić Plavac 0.75l

Plavac from Tomić has been defying the myth of high price as a necessary companion to the quality of this variety for years. So, it has become synonym with for good value for small price. It is produced from the Plavac Mali variety, the most important Dalmatian red variety. Top quality grapes from the sunnier south side of the island are combined for this wine, with grapes from the vineyards on the north side that give lighter wines, fresh fruit aromas. Typical varietal aromas of Plavac (plum, cherry and dark berry fruit, natural herbs - immortelle and Mediterranean herbs) are rounded off by a shorter aging in used oak barrels, which gives the wine discreet notes of wood, coffee and spices.
