Description

Montes Alpha Sauvignon Blanc comes from the cool coastal Leyda Valley, where it grows under the strong influence of the Pacific and morning mists, which gives it exceptional aromatic precision and natural freshness. The vineyards are located on mineral, granite and limestone soils, which is clearly felt in the pronounced salty-mineral character of the wine. The grapes are harvested by hand and at night, in order to preserve the aroma and freshness as much as possible, one part of the wine is aged on fine lees, with occasional stirring, which gives it a fuller texture and creaminess. The aromas are intertwined with lime, grapefruit, passion fruit and green herbal tones, while on the palate, the wine is extremely clean, vibrant and long-lasting, with a precise fresh and elegant finish.
